Response Form
Thank you for your enquiry,
Please take a few minutes to read all the important information below, it’s long but it saves lots of time in the long run.
It’s a requirement that you read, understand and agree with all our terms before we can go any further in the tattoo process.
Here’s how it all works....
Brainstorming:
Describe in detail the tattoo you would like including the following,
-
Style (black and grey, colour, realism, Neo-Traditional etc)
-
Placement: please include photos of the area being tattooed. If it’s a sleeve for example, one from the front, one from the back and one which catches the inside (see examples below) It will be best to get someone else to take these for you so they are square on and clear.
-
Send through any reference images you particularly like and might want to be incorporated in the design. These exact images may or may not be used depending on the aesthetics of the design, but it’s helpful to know what you’re looking for.
Please send reference images here:

*Please note*:
Try not to use other people’s tattoos as reference pictures. No artist likes to copy other people’s work so try and stick to actual photos. We’re happy for you to send through one or two tattoos just to give an idea of what you like in terms of style, but please note that we do NOT copy other people’s artwork or tattoos.
Pricing, Deposits and Payments:
-
Our studio rates vary from £50 to £100 an hour depending on which artist works with you. If you have a particular artist in mind please let us know otherwise we will direct the artist to you who best suits your needs.
-
A deposit is needed to book your appointment. These vary between £30 and £100 depending on the size of the tattoo and must be paid into the studio account: details below.
-
Please take a screen shot of the confirmed payment page and send it to us so we can make a note of your payment. If your bank does not allow a screen shot please let us know and we will check the account.
Your deposit will stay in the studio and be deducted from the cost of your final sitting and is non-refundable. Once the deposit is paid we’ll get back to you with some dates and get you booked in.
-
If for any reason you need to change your appointment please let us know at least 72 hours (3 days) before your appointment otherwise another deposit will be required to rebook your appointment.
-
If for any reason you need to cancel your appointment entirely please let us know as early as you can so we can try and fill your spot. Your deposit will also be forfeited if this is the case. It can be very difficult to fill a slot at short notice and therefore an artist can loose out on work.
-
Besides the deposit we are a CASH only studio and full payments are required at the end of each session.
*Please note*
Tattooing is a long process and every client has different skin and pain tolerances which the artist has to adapt to each time. For this reason among others we cannot give estimates on how much a tattoo will cost. Some smaller tattoo’s can be priced but generally we will not guess at how long a tattoo will take. Larger pieces such as sleeves and back pieces can take 40 hours or more, it’s a commitment by both client and artist, so please bare this in mind when booking.
Design Process:
-
The design will be based on all the references and previously agreed ideas that we have discussed. There is a level of trust required between the client and artist which will allow the artist a certain amount of creative freedom to produce something they are both happy with. Whilst the clients input is very much part of the process it is down to the artist to bring it all together and use his or her experience to create the final piece. There will be opportunities to make adjustments to the design once it’s finished but please let your artist know at least 7 days before your appointment if you want to make any major changes to the concept. Minor adjustments once the design has been seen by the client are fine.
-
All good tattoo artists will have lots of clients to design for, so your design work will go into the queue and be dealt with at the first available opportunity. Due to the busy nature of our studio most designs won’t be available for viewing until the day/evening before your appointment. This is standard practise for a busy studio, if all the criteria has been clearly set out and agreed upon by both parties then it is rarely a problem. As mentioned above trust in your artist is an important aspect of getting a tattoo.

Appointment:
-
Please arrive alone. In accordance with government guidelines we are limited to one person per artist. Although you might like a friend to help you through your session it can be a distraction to the artists and increase risk. We are a welcoming bunch and have a large TV with Netflix so take the opportunity to pop your feet up and relax while being tattooed.
-
If you are arriving by car there are two car parks a short walk from the studio, plus street parking, please do not park in the private car park behind the studio. The studio address is below, both Google and Parkopedia have information for appropriate parking.

On the Day!
-
On arrival to the studio the details on the consent form will be confirmed.
-
We will take your temperature using a forehead thermometer and ask you to sanitise your hands using the hand sanitiser provided.
-
On the days leading up to your appointment please refrain from drinking alcohol. It thins the blood and causes excess bleeding among other things. This can have a detrimental effect on the tattoo process and healing.
-
Aspirin also thins the blood so bare this mind if you are using painkillers for any reason.
-
Arrive well rested and nourished. It’s generally a good thing whether you’re getting a tattoo or not, but it will help you get through the process if you're in good health. Get plenty of nutrients in and make sure you’re all caught up on your sleep.
-
Please shave the area that is being tattooed, taking care not to cut yourself, as even if it looks like you have no hair on the area you will have very fine light hairs. Even though these look insignificant please do your best to remove them, it will help greatly with the tattoo process keeping the tattoo work space sanitary and also saves us having to use a disposable plastic razor. We try to be as environmentally friendly as possible, so the use of a single use disposable razor is best avoided if possible. Your artist will be charging you for his or her time once you sit down in the chair and they can spend more time tattooing if you have already prepared your skin.
-
Please wear comfy clothes that will help with the tattooing process. A vest or t-shirt for an arm tattoo, shorts for a tattoo on your leg.
-
Bring your own lunch if you’re in for the day, you’re very welcome to use our fridge and microwave.
-
It’s important to stay hydrated before during and after a tattoo so please bring your own water bottle.
-
Please bring a form of photo ID for our records, passport or driving licence.
-
Please let us know if you are running late. As long as we know in advance we can usually adjust things to fit, but please keep us informed.
-
If you’re overly late and it effects the length of the appointment you will still be charged for the full session.
-
if you do not show up to your appointment you will loose your deposit and we will not be able to work with you in the future.
Closing Statement:
-
Your deposit along with your client consent form will be understood as an agreement to all of the above, so please ensure you have read and understood it all.
-
Please remember to include as much detail regarding the tattoo as possible, including the requested photos. If this is not clear it will delay the whole process.
-
Deposits are non-refundable. They are there to ensure the artist some income if for any reason the client does not make it to the appointment. As stated above at least 72 hours (3 days) notice must be given to the studio if for any reason you will not be able to make your appointment.
-
Please be patient; we are a busy studio and so it can sometimes take a little while to respond to all our messages but we will get back to you.
Thanks for your interest and we look forward to hearing from you.
